Hey ladies, as you know we had a FREE Rapidshare giveaway contest who can give us the best rhymes on dr.manhattan and Watchmen that took place here . It was a hard decision and I couldn't make the decision by myself so I had help from a couple of my boys like Morphs and others.
First lets go over the top 3:
My first favorite was this dude Amafia with this gem:
"Dr. Manhattan / come through leave yer planet flattened, / when i hit it, leave bitches speakin pig latin / I got the vietcong, bowin down to the blue dong / my shit is strong / they shoulda never locked me in that room, that shit was wrong"
I liked how he came aggressive at first and then mentioned my favorite part creatively by saying the vietcong were bowing to the blue dong. Immediately a contender for winner as soon as I read it.
My second favorite was John Ryan when he dropped his deep scientific shit his second time after he tried miserably the first try. Here's what he said:
"I can bend the physical, I transcend the spirtual/ i had tha vietnamese on they knees praying to me like a ritual/ and wit a mere thought i'm making globes so spherical/ one blue finger to ya lady's pussy got her so hysterical/"
I like how he got real deep and thinking with it and once again my favorite part of the movie was mentioned creatively. The only lack in the rhyme is that globes are spherical by themselves so making a globe would already be making it spherical thus reiterating and losing me. But definitely none the less a contender for the win.
Now for the 3rd contender for the win, came in by a nutsack hair cuz he submitted it at the last second last night right before the contest ended was Jason. Lets see what he came up with at the last minute:

Whoa. Getting deep and staying consistent throughout the whole thing and stayed on point. He tried two previous times but didn't impress me much, but this time he impressed me and made it a lot more interesting right before the buzzer which was cool.
So those are the three main contenders that we were deciding on who should win throughout today and yesterday. I want to give a shoutout to Dario who dropped my personal favorite line of the contest which was:
"from protons to neutrons
i dismantled every vietcong."
If you would of stayed consistent homie you would of won hands down.
Another big shoutout to the homie C-Tru who did his thing, put work in and actually went in the studio and made a track and put down the lyrics shouting out Mexican-Taint. This is an official new mixtape/street album from Killah Priest. All original and new tracks for this exclusive mixtape he released a short time ago. This is a must for all wu and priest fans out there. I'm gonna give this a listen for sure.

Wu-Tang affiliate Killah Priest has been hard at work. Just this February, he teamed up with us to give away his free The Untold Story Of Walter Reed mixtape, and now, we're re-upping with him for another project.
BallerStatus.com and Tha Advocate are presenting this brand new street album, titled I Killed The Devil Last Night, for free, exclusively here on BallerStatus.
"This is more like a street album, it's Priest doing other things on here," the rapper explained. "I killed the devil with music."
The project is a 26-track effort, full of brand new, never-heard-before freestyles and original tracks all with Killah Priest by himself, aside from one track from his son Starkim, as well as a collabo track with Advo, Willy Northpole, Stat Quo, Big Lou, Hussein Fatal, and others.
"Advo's 'Where I Come From (Remix)' was a murderous joint. It was crazy ... all these new young terrorizers on the mic ... hip-hop is infinite," exclaimed Killah Priest.

The style of music that is produced by Truth and Adapt is described by fans as "a breath of fresh air and a throwback to the West Coast hip-hop style". The Song:
The cavalcade of songs and artists that appear on DJ JS-1's latest album, No Sell Out: Ground Original 2, comes to a head on the record's finale of a track, "Brainbender." Clocking in at over five and a half minutes, "Brainbender" is the longest song on the album - a fact JS attributes to the four verses he wanted to feature, "The song has four verses. It's long and just the way I like it, not the way most people do it. I got Kool Keith to say a classic Ultra line 'I'm sending brains are bending' for the chorus, which kind of holds true when people listen to something like this." Joining Kool Keith on the track are fellow guest artists Ced Gee (collectively half of Ultramagnetic MCs), Canibus, Prince Poetry, and Rahzel. From the straight-ahead backbeat to the upbeat verses, all the featured emcees are supported by an extraordinary amount of classic DJ moves, as JS-1 scratches in almost every space possible. Packing a song to the brim like this probably best defines “NO SELLOUT” (Ground Original 2) is now available via Fat Beat Records.

As a member of the world famous Rock Steady Crew, partner of Rahzel (the world's #1 beatboxer), and occasional tour DJ for KRS-One, DJ JS-1 has toured the planet with over 1,000 shows in more than 32 countries and hundreds of cities. During that time, the Queens, NY native has shared the stage with a wide variety of artists, including 50 Cent, RUN DMC, Maroon 5, Wu-Tang Clan, The Roots, Busta Rhymes, Talib Kweli, Redman & Method Man, Wyclef, OAR, Dashboard Confessional, Snoop Dogg, All American Rejects, Mike Patton, and many more.
